Visiting a New England Orchard is a wonderful way to spend a few hours. Many of these farm stands are filled with wonderful baked goods, crafts, home-made jellies and jams. The Barnum Museum Bridgeport This museum has a lot of wax figurines, the original carriage for PT Barnum and Mrs. Barnum, original clothing and personal items of PT Barnum. On the top floor of the museum there is model circus tent with figurines. There is a small arts and craft area on the first floor and also a gift area with circus items, magic games and books.

The Greenwich Library has a lovely Children's Library room on located on the third floor at the main branch. Reading programs for toddlers 3-5. There are 3 additional library branches in Greenwich, The Perot Library in Old Greenwich, The Cos Cob Library and the Byram Library each with different programs. The Greenwich library provides wonderful online resources through the central website which allows patrons to reserve books and DVD's online so the materials are ready for you when you arrive at the library. The Ferguson Library Stamford this is the main branch in downtown Stamford. There are many Children's programs available although parking is often tricky because of the location.
